Advertisements, publications, and websites requiring print or electronic visual communication are most effective with a proper lay out using the right shapes, colors, and patterns. These images may be subtle, dramatic, or elegant and vary dramatically depending on the campaign. Karina's keen eye for design and her provocative aesthetic sense allow her to determine and execute the most compelling look for each project.

After completing her art degree from the San Diego Art Institute, she produced an admirable design portfolio displaying her confidence and her unique design talent. At Alternative Strategies, marketing visuals must carry a very specific message that motivates and makes an impact—and Karina never fails to bring a fresh, creative approach to all of our clients’ graphic design needs.

Along with her fine work on a diverse array of projects, Karina's flair, originality, and bilingual communication ability are impressive and valued assets. She has designed stylistically and creatively demanding projects for both domestic and international corporations, including notables such as Harvest Meat, Co. and Urbanimex. Blending her creative knowledge, originality, and technical proficiency, she has also won awards for her distinguished advertising campaign for the San Diego Children's Museum and Carol Hollan, M.D. to name a few.

When Karina is not designing advertisements, identity packages, websites, brochures (and practically everything in between) for Alternative Strategies, she enjoys walking, jogging and other energetic activities, as well as spending time with her friends and family.
