As the Media Relations Manager, Lauren thrives on her ability to provide creative PR campaigns for her clients. Establishing a relationship with each client is very important to her and she feels it’s a key component in building a successful PR plan. Organization, creativity, enthusiasm and persistence are the core values she lives by and are reflected in her work.

Lauren started her career in communications while working as a freelance assignment editor for NBC 11 in San Francisco. Though she loved her years in the city she decided to relocate to San Diego in order to be closer to her family. Once she arrived in San Diego she worked in the sales department at NBC 7/39 and worked closely on their “Double Dollar Steals” segments. After working directly with clients at NBC 7/39 she realized her passion was geared more in the PR side of the industry and went on to offer her own PR services to local San Diego authors. Currently as the media relations manager at Alternative Strategies Lauren loves her ability to create innovative public relations campaigns for her clients.

Lauren graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in radio & television broadcasting. She also has a degree from the Professional Culinary Institute and has a strong passion and love of culinary arts.

When Lauren is out of the office she can be found doing many of her favorite things such as cooking, spending time with her husband and family, exercising, enjoying the beach or watching a good movie.
